[Cozy Powell was playing drums during the writing sessions, but was sidelined by a horse riding accident, which prevented him from doing the album or tour. Also, in the 11th hour of the DEHUMANIZER tour, Rob Halford filled in for Ronnie James Dio during the now legendary Costa Mesa shows. The original members of Sabbath (Ozzy, Tony, Geezer, Bill) also reunited for a 4-song set at the end of those shows.

[Bobby Rondinelli played on all of the live dates up through the Provinssi Rock Festival in Seinajoki, Finland on 6/11/94. He was replaced by Bill Ward for the South American Tour in August-September '94, but left afterwards. Geezer Butler also departed the band following this tour.]

[This first reunion tour reunited 3 of the 4 originals Sabs for a short U.S. tour headlining the very first Ozzfest tour. Ozzy and Mike Bordin would first perform a 70-minute set with Ozzy's solo band before returning for a 50-minute headlining set with Iommi, Butler and Nicholls. But the true reunion took place in December '97 at two concerts which brought Bill Ward back into the fold.]

[This tour was originally planned to be the 1st tour for the reunited original lineup. During rehearsals for the tour in Birmingham on May 19th, 1998, Bill Ward suffered a heart attack, which forced him to bow out of the month-long tour in Europe. Vinny Appice was brought in just two weeks in advance to fill in for Ward.]
