| 6/11/05 | 'Download Festival' - Donington Park | Leicestershire | England | N.I.B., After Forever, War Pigs, Dirty Women, Fairies Wear Boots, Symptom Of The Universe [instrumental] -> Sweet Leaf [instrumental] -> Electric Funeral, Iron Man, Into The Void, Black Sabbath, The Wizard, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath [intro] -> Paranoid, E: Sleeping Village -> Children Of The Grave, Outro-Changes | Only days after this show has happened, I hade been able to confirm three video sources for this show, thanks to Tom A. These include: Source #1: Complete show from Sony DCR-HC14E digital video camera. Source #2: Complete show from another digital video recording. Source #3: Incomplete, but pro-shot highlights from TV of the DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL However, an even BETTER 4th source surfaced just shortly thereafter. Source #4 was taken from a professionally multi camera feed. This source can easily be identified by the time code running at the bottom of the picture. This may very well be the best 2005 footage currently available to Sabbath fans. The Donington pro-shot DVD has also been bootlegged under the title BLOODY DOWNLOAD. Tony Iommi spoke with BBC's "Rock Show" on June 16, 2005 about their plans to release the performance officially. To date, only part of the show has been officially issued. In November 2005, Clear Channel Entertainment released OZZFEST’s 10TH ANNIVERSARY. Although most of the bands were filmed performing in Camden, NJ on July 19th, 2005, Black Sabbath’s performance was taken from Download Festival. Three songs are featured – “War Pigs”, “Iron Man” and “Paranoid”. |

| 6/18/05 | 'Fields Of Rock Festival' - Evenemententerrein Goffertpark | Nijmegen | The Netherlands | Armijn's videos: After Forever, Into The Void, Band Introductions -> Sleeping Village [intro] -> Children Of The Grave Michele's videos: Fairies Wear Boots <2:40>, Black Sabbath <1:24> |
Source #1 was filmed by Armjin Hemel. This includes 5 different video clips that contain most of "After Forever", "Into The Void", the band introductions by Ozzy, "Sleeping Village" and "Children Of The Grave". It's very difficult to see much at all from this low resolution video (160 x 120), but was at least a nice curiosity piece to get on the very night of the show. There are some samples from this (both video and MP3) on the Nijmgen 2005 tour reviews page. Source #2 was filmed by Michele Milella. There are two Quicktime videos done with a Nikon Digital Camera set for 640 x 480 resolution. The results are quite good, as Michele is from a nice vantage point very close to the stage. Great shots of Ozzy in this one. Contains long excerpts of "Fairies Wear Boots" and "Black Sabbath". |

| 6/23/05 | Arena Muzika Festival - Lokomotiv Stadium | Sofia | Bulgaria | Unconfirmed, but recently sited on Soulseek by a site patron named Boris. | ||
| 6/25/05 | 'Rock Wave Festival' - Terra Vibe | Malakasa (Athens) | Greece | Complete Show Set List (Audience Film #3): Intro-Sabbath Medley, N.I.B., After Forever, War Pigs, Dirty Women, (Band Introductions), Fairies Wear Boots, Symptom Of The Universe [instrumental] -> Sweet Leaf [instrumental] -> Electric Funeral, Iron Man, Into The Void, Black Sabbath, The Wizard, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath [intro] -> Paranoid, E: A Bit Of Finger [intro -1:30] -> Children Of The Grave, Outro-Changes | There are THREE good audience sources and one excellent pro-shot video from the Athens show in circulation. Audience video source #1 is some incomplete footage of just 12:45. It includes “N.I.B., “After Forever” and “War Pigs” Boris (on audience video #1): “Seems like an audience film shot from the left, not too far from the stage. Audio is good. At the beginning some writing on the screen that appears saying something like "The Evolution TV Show, featuring Black Sabbath first time in Greece" though the video is clearly not a pro shot. The zooming is good and you can see what goes around on stage. Only flaw is the occasional hands that block part of the view, the overall camera work is quite fine. Sound is pretty good, somewhat distant in places but very listenable and pleasant.” “The video is 12 min. 45 sec. and it goes like this: At first you get “N.I.B.” which cuts in the end, and then you can see Ozzy clapping and shouting to the audience. Next comes a complete “After Forever”, followed by the band introduction by Ozzy. You can catch a glimpse of Ozzy bowing down when he introduces Iommi. After that comes the ending of “War Pigs”, which starts from "Now in darkness world stops turning ....." and after that song is done the video ends. All of these are cuts edited into a short film, so I suppose there is the complete audience video out there.” “There's just one annoying thing. There's some guy, right in front of the filmer, jumping up and down with his hand up, blocking a great deal of the view. The place where they play is quite pretty from what I could make out, with all these trees around.” Audience video source #2 is a good quality video with a running time of 82:16. The filmer is positioned a fair distance back from the stage and more towards the left (Geezer’s side). He has to battle with lots of heads and obstructions, so the result is quite shaky. We are able to get some decent close-up’s of the stage when the zoom lens goes in, but the camera rarely remains steady. The sound quality is clear good stereo audio with just enough level distortion to be annoying. It’s also not as complete as source #3 and lacks the intro and outro music. Audience video source #3 has a running time of approximately 78 minutes and is shot from between the center and Iommi’s side of the stage (right). This one is also quite shaky like the other two audience sources. The pro-shot source is a from an EXCELLENT multicam matrix feed with excellent soundboard audio. The running time is 91:49 and the video appears to be complete. This gem was torrented on Dimeadozen.org by Pantelis79 on April 2nd, 2007. The quality easily rivals the pro-shot Download Festival that has been making the rounds in trading circles. Highly recommended!! A real beauty!! |

| 6/29/05 | T-Mobile Arena | Prague | Czech Republic | Intro-Sabbath Medley, N.I.B., After Forever, War Pigs, Dirty Women, Fairies Wear Boots, Dirty Women, Symptom Of The Universe [instrumental] -> Sweet Leaf [instrumental] -> Electric Funeral, Iron Man, Into The Void, Black Sabbath, The Wizard, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath [intro] -> Paranoid, Intermission, E: Sleeping Village [intro] -> Children Of The Grave | Very nice audience film that was recently seeded in DVD format on Dimeadozen.org. Filmers comments: "Great gig! Ozzy, Geezer, Tony and Bill were in top form, as powerful as a band of twenty-somethings. Ozzy started to scream "Ai, ai, ai,..., I can't fucking hear you...., Oooohooohoooohoooo...", from the darkness and all people were screaming with him. The show opened with "N.I.B." When Sabbath came on stage, the audience went crazy. There were no songs on that the crowd wasn't singing, which made Ozzy really happy. He was laughing and smiling all the time. He was ravishing - doing his bunny hops, falling to his knees in mock adoration when introducing Tony Iommi, beckoning the crowd to join in, revealing his ass in short, throwing buckets of water in the audience. Some of the younger people in the audience who had never seen him live on stage before couldn't believe this was the same man they had seen on the TV. We could feel sea of energy, drive and pleasure from the stage... Great evening I will never forget..." "Download and enjoy yourselves - play loud and spread free all over the world! Notice: Due to seeking the best place and way to catch the show the picture of the first song is rather unfocused and jittery. Sorry for that." |

| 7/3/05 | Globen | Stockholm | Sweden | Source #1 (Excerpts): Dirty Women, Fairies Wear Boots, Iron Man, Into The Void Source #3 (Mobile Phone footage - fragments): After Forever <:56>, War Pigs <:51>, Fairies Wear Boots <:41>, Medley: Symptom Of The Universe -> Sweet Leaf -> Electric Funeral <1:39>, Iron Man introduction <1:22>, Iron Man pt. 2 <:32>, Ozzy introduces Into The Void <:20>, Into The Void ,:04>, Black Sabbath <:08>, Paranoid <:04>, Paranoid pt. 2 <:03>, Children Of The Grave <:04>, Children Of The Grave pt. 2 <:03> [Total Running Time - 6:47] |
Three known video sources. Source #1 is a very shaky audience film done very close to the front on Geezer's side of the stage. This footage was originally posted in 2005 at http://www.sabbath2005sweden.tk/ in Windows Media format, but then removed. This film contains some long excerpts from "Dirty Women", "Fairies Wear Boots", "Iron Man" and "Into The Void". The running time of this sample is 12-minutes, but I'm not certain if this is the complete film or not. Source #2 is an uncirculated two-camera version. I will provide more information on this source as it becomes available. Source #3 is about 7 minutes of fragmentary footage captured with a mobile phone. Shot from the extreme left side of the stage in the bleachers (Geezer’s side), the filming alternates between wide shots of the stage and a video screen on the opposite side of the venue. Of course, the band doesn’t look much bigger than small insects without the benefit of a zoom lens, but you make out Ozzy dancing around and clapping his hands and some basic stage movements. There are 13 clips in all, with the longest clips being roughly a minute to 90 seconds each. The sound is fair at best – distorted mono sound at a low bit-rate (8 kbps). | 7/7/05 | Spektrum | Oslo | Norway | N.I.B., After Forever [partial] | Incomplete video of 1st two songs, thanks to Sabbathlive's own Jan Hoel! Jan Hoel: "I was seated in the wheelchair section there were several guards/helpers there. So, I decided to whip out my camera and have a go. I got through "N.I.B." and halfway through "After Forever" before some guy came over and stopped me. :( "Bah! Ah, very annoying." "I put the camera behind my back, but forgot to turn it off. So I do have the audio of most of the show, even though it was recorded through the built in microphone. Having it behind my back didn't improve the sound any either. So, I don't think it's much worth to anyone. I'll try and see if I can transfer the first 1 1/2 songs at least. The picture quality looked quite nice. But hey, it's my first ever self recorded piece of Sabbath, so I'll hang on to it for sure. And heh, Ozzy's awkward "Bill intro" is on it too - LOL." |
