This DVD also includes live performances by Anthrax, Trivium, Soilwork, The Haunted, Gizmachi, Rob Zombie, It Dies Today, Wicked Wisdom, H.I.M., A Dozen Furies and Velvet Revolver. Reviews of this video are fairly mixed and many fans have questioned the glaring exclusion of Iron Maiden from this release…
7/20/05 METAL ASYLUM (Fused TV)

U.S.
From Blabbermouth (July 21st): BLACK SABBATH members Tony Iommi (guitar) and Geezer Butler (bass) stopped by the New York City studios of Fuse TV on Wednesday (July 20) to tape an appearance on "Metal Asylum". Check out pictures at this location.

According to a posting on the "Metal Asylum" blog, "Tony will be on Monday's [July 25] show and will be discussing amongst other things, his new solo album 'Fused' with Glenn Hughes from DEEP PURPLE singing, BLACK SABBATH touring, Ozzfest, the metal scene today, and he also talks about the tragic accident that turned out to spawn heavy metal.

"Geezer will be on Tuesday's [July 26] show and his nephew Pedro Howse, who also happens to be in GZR, talk about BLACK SABBATH, the new GZR album 'Ohmwork', Ozzfest, why he chose Clark Brown to sing instead of going with Burton from FEAR FACTORY and lots more.

"Both shows will also have very rare EXCLUSIVE BLACK SABBATH live clips that you won't see on any other TV show!

"In other news, we'll be at Ozzfest shooting at the FYE signing tent almost all day Saturday [July 23] in Pittsburgh, so please stop by and say hello. Maybe find your way on TV if you're lucky."

From Iommi.com: " Tony & Geezer visited the VH1 Classic studios in New York last week for a chat about their new solo albums. We've just heard that the interview will go out on VH1 Classic in the USA this Saturday (30th July) at 11am and 11pm EST. Hopefully it will also turn up on their UK and International channels at some point too!"
8/11/05 White River Amphitheatre Auburn (Seattle) WA U.S. Intro-Sabbath Medley [incomplete], N.I.B., After Forever, War Pigs, Band Introductions, Dirty Women, Fairies Wear Boots, Medley: Symptom of The Universe [instrumental – short] -> Sweet Leaf [short arrangement] -> Electric Funeral, Iron Man, Black Sabbath, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath [intro] -> Paranoid, E: Sleeping Village [intro] -> Children Of The Grave VG audience film done by Shane P. This was filmed from about halfway back in the amphitheater. There are occasional obstructions and the camera gets tilted and shaky at times. Thankfully, Shane was able to get some nice shots of both the stage and the huge video projection screen behind it. The sound is good to mostly VG with some slight distortion.

Contains one particularly cringeworthy moment when poor Ozzy chokes his way through the final lines of "Dirty Women", but throws his microphone down in disgust before finishing. Iommi more than compensates for this embarrasing moment by playing an absolute stunner of a solo. [Note - There is a 2nd source for Ozzy's tantrum on a distant and brief digital camera MPG. What timing!]

Ozzy's tantrum marked an important turning point in the Ozzfest 2005 tour. Just days after starting the U.S. tour, Ozzy began to have problems with his voice that forced the band to either shorten the set list or cancel shows altogether. By the time they reached Seattle 2 weeks later, Ozzy felt completely frustrated with the situation. On the day following this concert, Ozzy announced that he was "retiring from Ozzfest" at the conclusion of this tour.
